ATA 300 shipping case configured for a Cinematic Studios rehoused Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 telephoto zoom. The cine rehouse adds cine-standard focus and zoom rings to the Sigma 120-300 photo zoom; the foam well is dimensioned to the rehoused barrel with relief at the focus, zoom, and iris ring positions and the integrated lens-foot tripod plate. The 120-300 is heavy and long; the well is reinforced with side-bolster foam to absorb side load.
Lid foam captures the lens at the rear flange to lock it under flight pressure changes. ATA 300 Category 1 plywood + ABS laminate shell, steel ball corners, recessed butterfly latches, edge-mounted spring handles, full aluminum extrusion edging.
