A Pelican 1600 base case for the Preston FI+Z HU3 wireless focus/iris/zoom hand unit — sized to accommodate the HU3 plus working accessories (antennas, charger, cables, MDR motor controller). The Pelican 1600 base means the kit rides airline cargo or as carry-on depending on configuration.The CNC-cut foam interior holds the HU3 in its operating orientation with cutouts profiled to the body. Accessory cutouts accommodate the antennas, the AC charging adapter, the LBUS cables, and a small Preston accessory pouch. If the MDR controller travels in the same case, dedicated cutouts hold it alongside.The Pelican 1600 shell is ATA 300 Category 1, IP67 waterproof, with pressure-equalization valve, recessed twist latches, built-in wheels, and an extending handle.Built in our North Hollywood workshop.
