Ancient Optics rehouses vintage Konica Hexanon primes into cine-compatible PL housings with matched focus gearing — turning a 1970s stills prime into a modern cine prime with deliberately retained vintage character (gentle flare, lower contrast, soft falloff). The Hexanon 200mm is the long end of the rehoused set, and it's often pulled as a single-lens rental for a specific shot rather than carried as part of a full kit.
This case is sized for the Hexanon 200mm specifically. The CNC-cut foam interior profiles the Ancient Optics rehoused barrel (which is consistent across the AO rehouse line, regardless of the underlying donor lens). The single-hole cutout supports the lens along its full length, with the PL mount facing up for fast deployment.
The shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with recessed ball-corner latches, pressure-equalization valve, and a soft-grip handle. Closed-cell polyethylene foam CNC-cut to the Hexanon barrel profile.
