A Pelican 1606 shell custom-foamed for the Canon CN20 Cine-Servo 50-1000mm T5.0-8.9 PL-mount zoom. The CNC-cut foam interior cradles the lens along its full barrel length, with separate fitted pockets for the servo grip / hand unit, drive cabling, lens support feet, and any AKS the lens travels with.
The CN20 is a long, heavy ENG-style cinema zoom with serious electronics — the foam supports the lens across multiple contact points rather than concentrating weight on the mount, and keeps the servo housing and connector pins from taking impact in transit. The 1606 shell is the right footprint for the lens's length and depth.
