Lens Set Transport Cases

Transporting a set of cinema lenses is one of the most consequential packing challenges in film production. A lens case has to protect glass worth anywhere from $30,000 to $500,000, allow fast access during lens changes, and survive airline transport, truck loading, and the general chaos of a working film set. Innerspace Cases builds transport cases for lens sets that meet all three requirements.

We work with 1st ACs and owner-operators to understand how they access and use their glass during a typical shooting day, then design a case that supports that workflow. Foam inserts hold each lens in a defined position, accessories travel with their associated lenses, and the whole system opens logically on a camera cart. Order and protection, not just protection.

Can you fit my complete prime set in one case?
Typically yes, depending on the number of lenses and their size. We design the most compact layout possible while maintaining safe separation between lenses.
Do you include space for lens accessories?
Yes. Lens cases typically include sections for lens caps, filter threads, lens support brackets, and other per-lens accessories.
Can you build cases for large-format lenses?
Yes. Large-format lenses for ALEXA 65, Venice 2, and large-format shooting require specialized cases due to their size and weight. We have experience with these builds.
Do you label lens positions in the foam?
Yes. We can cut identification labels into the foam, add label holders, or use other marking systems to clearly identify each lens position.
