A Pelican 1600 base case for the Preston FI+Z HU3 wireless focus/iris/zoom hand unit — sized to accommodate the HU3 plus working accessories (antennas, charger, cables, MDR motor controller). The Pelican 1600 base means the kit rides airline cargo or as carry-on depending on configuration.
The CNC-cut foam interior holds the HU3 in its operating orientation with cutouts profiled to the body. Accessory cutouts accommodate the antennas, the AC charging adapter, the LBUS cables, and a small Preston accessory pouch. If the MDR controller travels in the same case, dedicated cutouts hold it alongside.
The Pelican 1600 shell is ATA 300 Category 1, IP67 waterproof, with pressure-equalization valve, recessed twist latches, built-in wheels, and an extending handle.
