Robotics Transport & Deployment Systems

Custom Robot Cases &
Robotics Deployment Systems

Your robot was engineered to move. Its case should be too.

Made to order North Hollywood, CA Prototype to fleet

Innerspace Cases designs and manufactures professional transport, deployment, charging-equipment, storage, and protective case systems for humanoid robots, quadrupeds, AMRs, AGVs, UGVs, cobots, robotic arms, mobile manipulators, robotics prototypes, and robot fleets.

Whether you're transporting one prototype to an investor demo or deploying hundreds of robots across the country, we can engineer the case around the robot, batteries, chargers, controllers, payloads, sensors, tools, and the way your team actually works.

Transport/ Deploy/ Operate/ Charge/ Store/ Repeat

The Problem Nobody Budgets For

Robots Are Going Everywhere.

  • Factories
  • Warehouses
  • Research labs
  • Hospitals
  • Customer sites
  • Trade shows
  • Film sets
  • Construction sites
  • Field operations
  • Investor demos

Robots may be autonomous when they're working.

But first, somebody has to get them there.

Innerspace Cases designs and manufactures protective transport and deployment systems around the entire robot ecosystem — not just the robot. We engineer professional systems that protect expensive robotic equipment while making it easier to transport, deploy, charge, service, store, and redeploy.

Robots are the future. And the future still has to ship.

The Robot Home Base

Give Your Robot a Home Base.

A robot case can be more than packaging.

Depending on the application, Innerspace can engineer a system that serves as the robot's:

  • Transport case
  • Shipping case
  • Protective enclosure
  • Deployment station
  • Staging station
  • Charging-equipment case
  • Battery storage system
  • Controller storage
  • Accessory storage
  • Payload storage
  • Spare-parts storage
  • Field-service station
  • Maintenance kit
  • Mobile workstation
  • Fleet identification system
  • Long-term storage system
To be clear: not every case performs every function. Innerspace engineers the configuration around your specific robot, your equipment, and the way your team actually works. "Sleep" here means safe storage, staging, docking, charging, or a protected home base between deployments.

Travel. Work. Recharge.Sleep. Repeat.

The Full Payload

Your Robot Isn't Just the Robot.

Real robot deployments often require an entire ecosystem of equipment. Miss one cable and the demo doesn't happen.

We engineer the case aroundthe entire robot system.

Innerspace can design custom foam layouts and compartments so each component has a dedicated location. When every item has a home, your team can see at a glance what is missing before the truck leaves — not after it arrives.

That means CNC-cut pockets sized to the actual part, labeled positions, and layouts your team can repack in the field without a diagram.

Four Jobs, One Case System

Travel. Deploy. Charge. Sleep.

Most robot cases are asked to do more than one job. We design for all of them at once.

01 Travel

Robot Transport Cases

Protect robots while moving between laboratories, customer sites, warehouses, conferences, factories, field locations, and trade shows. A robot transport case is built for repeated use — not a one-way crate that gets thrown away at the destination.

  • ATA-style reusable transport cases
  • Rugged protective cases
  • Pelican cases where appropriate
  • Custom fabricated flight cases
  • CNC-cut protective foam
  • Wheels and casters
  • Heavy-duty handles
  • Tie-down and restraint concepts
  • Repeated-use transportation
  • Freight-friendly configurations
  • Oversized custom cases
02 Deploy

Robot Deployment Cases

The best case doesn't just get the robot there. It helps the team get the robot working.

A deployment case is organized around the sequence your team actually follows — unpack, stage, power up, commission, operate, service, tear down, repack. An engineered case can organize:

  • Robot
  • Batteries
  • Controller
  • Charger
  • Sensors
  • Payloads
  • Tools
  • Cables
  • Spare components

Built for real field-service workflows: deployment, commissioning, staging, setup, teardown, field service, and redeployment — over and over, without losing parts along the way.

03 Power

Robot Charging & Power Cases

The case that transports your robot can also organize the equipment that keeps it mission-ready.

Innerspace can engineer a case around manufacturer-approved:

  • Chargers
  • Power supplies
  • Charging cables
  • Spare batteries
  • Battery storage
  • Power distribution components
  • Cable management
  • Docking components
  • Charging accessories
What we do and don't do. Innerspace does not manufacture battery chargers or power electronics. We design the case, enclosure, foam, organization, and integration around customer-supplied or OEM-approved equipment.
Lithium battery note. Lithium-ion battery transportation requirements depend on cell chemistry, capacity, carrier, and shipping method. These requirements should be evaluated separately for your specific batteries and route before shipment or travel.
04 Sleep

Give Your Robot Somewhere to Sleep.

When the mission ends, the robot still needs somewhere protected to go.

Create a home base for safe storage, staging, charging equipment, service tools, accessories, and the next deployment. A robot sitting in the corner of a lab under a tarp is a robot that gets bumped, borrowed from, and slowly stripped of its accessories.

A dedicated storage case keeps the platform and every supporting component together, protected, inventoried, and ready for the next call.

Travel. Deploy. Charge.Store. Repeat.

Fleet Case Systems

One Robot Is a Case.
Fifty Robots Are a System.

At fleet scale, the case stops being a product and becomes a standard.

Innerspace can create standardized case configurations for an entire fleet, so every unit ships the same way, packs the same way, and gets serviced the same way — whether it's leaving your dock or a technician's van three states away.

Built for robot manufacturers, robot rental companies, Robotics-as-a-Service companies, integrators, universities, enterprise robot operators, and event robotics companies.

  • Repeatable CNC foam
  • Repeatable case designs
  • Serialized cases
  • Asset identification
  • Engraved labels
  • Company branding
  • Color-coded organization
  • Standardized accessory locations
  • Replacement foam
  • Repeat manufacturing
  • Bulk ordering
  • Fleet-wide case standards

Robot Rental & RaaS

Robots That Make Money Have to Stay Moving.

Rental robots live a harder life than almost any other platform. They ship constantly, get handled by people who didn't pack them, and have to be ready to go out again the day they come back.

A rental fleet's real enemy is turnaround time. Every hour spent hunting for a missing charger or re-cutting a crumbling foam insert is an hour the asset isn't earning. Heavy transportation duty cycles demand fast, repeatable packing systems that any technician can execute correctly the first time.

  • Fast pack-out
  • Fast setup
  • Visual inventory
  • Missing-item identification
  • Organized accessories
  • Easy loading and unloading
  • Wheels
  • Handles
  • Truck transportation
  • Freight transportation
  • Fleet numbering
  • Branding
  • Replacement interiors
  • Repeatable case manufacturing

Robotics Startups

Protect the Prototype You Spent Two Years Building.

Investor demo tomorrow? Customer pilot next week? Trade show across the country?

Don't wrap a high-value robotics prototype in blankets and hope for the best.

Innerspace can engineer a professional reusable transport system around the prototype and all of its supporting equipment — so the thing you've been building for two years arrives in the same condition it left in, and sets up in minutes instead of an anxious hour.

  • Investor demos
  • Conferences
  • Trade shows
  • Customer pilots
  • University demonstrations
  • Field testing
  • Manufacturing partners
  • Product launches

Scaling Path

Your Case System Can Grow With Your Robot.

The case you need for one prototype and the case system you need for two hundred units are the same design problem, solved at different scales.

Step 01

Prototype

One custom robot case.

Step 02

Pilot

Several repeatable case systems.

Step 03

Production

Standardized configuration for every robot.

Step 04

Fleet

Serialized transport and deployment systems produced at scale.

Prototype Pilot Production Fleet

Because we keep your CAD-based interior layouts and foam programs on file, the design you approve at prototype stage becomes the repeatable standard at fleet stage. Innerspace can stay your protective case partner as the company scales.

Custom Foam For Robots

CNC-Cut Foam Engineered Around Your Robot.

Robot geometry is rarely friendly to off-the-shelf inserts.

Robots have limbs that fold at odd angles, sensor domes that must never take a load, exposed connectors, protruding manipulators, and centers of gravity that shift depending on how the platform is stowed. Pick-and-pluck foam and generic dividers don't solve that — they just fill space.

Custom foam can protect and organize:

  • Robot chassis
  • Limbs
  • Manipulators
  • Sensors
  • Cameras
  • LiDAR
  • Batteries
  • Controllers
  • Chargers
  • Cables
  • Grippers
  • Tools
  • Accessories

Innerspace builds CAD-based interior layouts and CNC-routes foam from those files. Because the layout is a file rather than a hand-cut one-off, the tenth interior matches the first — which is what makes fleet standardization and replacement foam possible years later.

Stock Case Fit Check

Can Your Robot Fit in a Pelican Case?

Smaller robots, controllers, payloads, batteries, sensors, and accessories often fit an existing Pelican case. Larger platforms need a custom fabricated transport case. Enter your robot's stowed dimensions and we'll tell you honestly which one you're looking at.

Use folded / stowed dimensions — legs retracted, arms parked, mast down. Inches only.

How to read the result. This check compares your dimensions against published Pelican interior dimensions with a 0.5″ clearance allowance per axis. It is a starting point, not a guarantee of fit. Foam thickness, protruding sensors, connector clearance, and how the robot actually seats in the case all affect the final answer — and Pelican does not publish a weight capacity for these cases, so payload is always reviewed separately. A case engineer confirms every recommendation before you order.

Why Innerspace

Built by People Who Build Cases — Not Just Sell Them.

Innerspace Cases manufactures custom protective equipment cases and custom interiors in North Hollywood, California.

We are a manufacturer, not a reseller placing your order with someone else. Cases are made to order, interiors are designed in CAD and CNC-routed in house, and the same shop that built your first case can build the next fifty to match. For decades we've built protective cases for professional equipment that travels hard for a living — camera and cinema packages that ship constantly, get handled by crews who didn't pack them, and are expected to work on arrival. Robotics has the same problem with different geometry.
