Fabricated ATA Monitor Cases Guide
A fabricated ATA monitor case is built by Innerspace from scratch to exterior dimensions we choose, in ATA-style construction, around a display that no stock shell fits well. This is the route for large reference monitors, multi-monitor packages, rolling systems and anything that ships freight repeatedly.
Why fabricated
- Custom exterior dimensions. The case is sized to the equipment and to the truck, cart or pallet it has to live in — not the other way round.
- Large-display capability. There is no practical upper bound the way there is with a molded shell.
- Dual and multi-monitor. Two displays in one case, separated and individually supported, is a routine build rather than an exception.
- Casters and tow handles. Integrated where the loaded weight justifies it.
- Recessed hardware and custom handles. Nothing proud of the panel to catch on a doorway or another case.
- Custom accessory compartments. Yokes, stands, brackets, hoods, cable and power get dedicated compartments, including gear that stays bolted to the monitor.
- Field-serviceable. Latches, handles, casters and corners are standard hardware and are replaced individually. A damaged case is repaired, not written off.
When ATA instead of Pelican
Choose fabricated when any of these are true: the display is larger than roughly 24 inches; the package is heavy enough that you want wheels; you are carrying two or more monitors together; a yoke, stand or bracket stays attached; the accessory package is large; the case ships freight rather than flying with a person; you need a specific exterior dimension; or you are standardizing a fleet and want every case identical and repairable.

Want something lighter
