The ARRI Ultra Prime 12mm is the wide rectilinear prime in the Ultra Prime family — used for architectural and environmental shots requiring wide coverage without fisheye distortion. The 12mm carries a dedicated mattebox in this configuration because its wide field needs specific flag and filter management.The CNC-cut foam interior holds both the Ultra Prime 12mm body and the matched mattebox in one shell. Each component has its own cutout: the lens with PL mount facing up, the mattebox in operating orientation ready for camera mount. Accessory cutouts accommodate filter trays and mounting hardware.Shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with recessed ball-corner latches, pressure-equalization valve, and a soft-grip carry handle. Closed-cell polyethylene foam CNC-cut to the 12mm + mattebox combined assembly.Built in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days.
