The fitted foam interior isolates the unit body and its fine adjustment hardware against shock and grit, with each well keyed to the gear it carries.
An ATA-300 rated shell - plywood with laminate exterior, steel valances, and recessed hardware - stands up to the 100-plus round trips of working rental and production travel. Exterior dimensions are about 21.5 x 19 x 14.5 in, ships at about 35 lb. Made in the USA.
