Arriflex 16 SR2 with Visual Products Video Tap mod

The ARRI Arriflex 16 SR2 is a classic Super-16 film camera that's stayed in active service for narrative and documentary work that wants 16mm film capture. The Visual Products video tap modification adds a real-time video output to the SR2 for monitoring during takes — a now-standard mod that wasn't part of the original SR2 design. This case is built specifically for an SR2 with the Visual Products video tap installed.The CNC-cut foam interior profiles the SR2 body in shooting orientation with the video tap module mounted in its operating position, cutouts for the AKS (battery, magazine adapter, motor controller), and a small accessory compartment for the cable kit that connects the video tap to an external monitor. The interior is sized so the camera loads and unloads as a working system rather than as a collection of parts.Shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with recessed ball-corner latches, pressure-equalization valve, and a soft-grip carry handle. Closed-cell polyethylene foam CNC-cut to the SR2+video tap body profile.Built in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days.
