Custom ATA shipping case for a Bolex 16mm camera configured with a video view tap and the OFG (oversize film gate) modification. The foam well captures the Bolex body at the lens mount and the wind-key turret with relief for the view-tap arm so the camera ships fully assembled with the tap fitted. Foam at the OFG gate area is contoured so the modified gate hardware is not loaded against foam.

Secondary pockets hold the matte box vignette set, the spring-wind key, and the 16mm magazine. Injection-molded shell — IP67 watertight and crushproof, with recessed latches and an automatic pressure-equalization valve. - sized so the camera, the tap monitor mount, and the daily AKS all ride in one pack-out.

Designed and CNC-cut at Innerspace Cases in North Hollywood. Call 818-767-3030 for a paired AKS and lens case for a complete Bolex shooting kit.

Will this fit my setup?

Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.

We reply with a real answer, usually same business day.

My setup is different

Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.

I need several

Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
