A custom case for hi-hat tripod boards — the low-profile camera mounting platforms used for ground-level shots, car mount applications, and crane bottom mounts. The hi-hat is heavy and the mounting surface needs dedicated foam protection to keep it flat in transit. The CNC-cut foam interior holds the hi-hat board horizontal with cutouts for the mounting hardware (Mitchell adapters, 3/8-inch and 1/4-inch threads, leveling pins). The cutout protects the mounting surface from dings that would compromise camera leveling.Shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with reinforced corners (the board is heavy), recessed ball-corner latches, pressure-equalization valve, and reinforced soft-grip handles for two-person lifts. Closed-cell polyethylene foam CNC-cut to the board dimensions.Built in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days. Specify hi-hat dimensions at order. Call 818-767-3030 to confirm.

Will this fit my setup?
Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.
Got it — we’re checking your package.
We have your configuration and the exact build you were looking at. You’ll hear back with a fit confirmation or the modification we’d recommend.
My setup is different
Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.
I need several
Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
