The well is shaped to the lens body with separate compartments for the support rod and the hand grips so nothing rubs against the optic during transit.The Pelican Protector shell brings watertight sealing, an automatic purge valve for altitude changes, and ATA-style impact protection. CNC-cut foam holds the Alura at its native balance point and prevents barrel sag during stacked storage.Manufactured by Innerspace Cases at our North Hollywood, CA workshop.
