The ALFA long primes carry a large front housing and extended barrel length; each well is dimensioned to the lens with relief at the focus and iris ring positions, and lid clearance is set for the longest 190mm so the shorter 108/145 seat at matched lid foam.
Lid foam captures each lens at the rear flange to lock it under flight pressure changes. Injection-molded shell — IP67 watertight and crushproof, with recessed latches and an automatic pressure-equalization valve. - sized and reinforced for the weight of three FF anamorphic long primes.
