A custom transport case for the Canon Sumire Prime set — Canon's PL-mount full-frame cinema primes derived from the CN-E EF-mount line but with a warmer, more characterful rendering tuned specifically for cinema. The set typically covers 14mm, 20mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 135mm. Each well is CNC-cut to the individual lens barrel with rear-cap clearance preserved for the PL rear cap, and the front element isolated from any direct foam contact.Pelican-class shell with retractable handle, two-wheel cart roll, automatic pressure-equalization valve, recessed dish latches, and stainless hardware. CNC-engraved foam labels keep focal-length identification fast in stage lighting. Bottom layer available for the PL-to-LPL adapter, witness-mark cards, lens donuts, or a microfiber cloth. Closed-cell foam doesn't shed into the focus or iris mechanism.Designed and built at 11555 Cantara Street in our North Hollywood, California workshop. Will this fit my setup?
Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.
Got it — we’re checking your package.
We have your configuration and the exact build you were looking at. You’ll hear back with a fit confirmation or the modification we’d recommend.
My setup is different
Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.
I need several
Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
