Precision foam wells, cut from manufacturer dimensions, protect the optical block, focus and iris gears, and PL or EF mount from impact and pressure.
The ATA-300 Category 1 shell pairs a plywood core with laminate skins, recessed twist latches, and tongue-and-groove lid sealing for repeated airline and freight use. Exterior dimensions are about 22 x 16 x 10.25 in, ships at about 28 lb. Made in the USA.
