ATA 300 shipping case configured for a Cooke S8/i Full-Frame Plus spherical prime. Single contoured well is dimensioned to the S8 barrel and 110mm front diameter with relief at the focus and iris ring positions. The S8/i shares a common front and rear footprint across its standard range, so the same well pattern handles any prime in the family (18, 25, 27, 32, 40, 50, 65, 75, 100, 135, 150 macro) with appropriate inserts.
Lid foam captures the lens at the rear flange to lock it under air pressure changes. ATA 300 Category 1 plywood + ABS laminate construction, steel ball corners, recessed butterfly latches, edge-mounted spring handles, full aluminum extrusion edging - the standard ship-and-bill shape for a single high-value PL prime.
