Custom ATA shipping case configured for a working set of Laowa Venus Optics Proteus 2x anamorphic primes. CNC-cut foam wells fit each Proteus PL housing with rear cap on and relieved pockets at the focus and iris rings. The 2x squeeze rear element is protected by a deeper rear-cap pocket so nothing loads against the rear glass.
Proteus housings are heavier than they look — the foam grip is tuned to the actual weight, not a generic anamorphic profile. Lid foam is relieved at the front filter ring so the front element stays clear of contact during transit.
