The Panavision 50mm anamorphic is the most-rented single focal length in the Panavision anamorphic catalog — a portrait-length 2× squeeze prime that's been part of countless features since the original C-Series shipped in the 1960s. This case is sized for the 50mm specifically as a single-lens carrier. The CNC-cut foam interior profiles the 50mm body with deep support cutouts that hold the lens with PL mount facing up. The single-hole layout has space for a front and rear lens cap, but otherwise stays compact — the case is sized for one-lens transport rather than as a wasted volume in a kit case. The shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with recessed ball-corner latches, pressure-equalization valve, and a soft-grip carry handle. The closed-cell polyethylene foam holds the cutout tolerance across hundreds of insertion cycles — important for a vintage anamorphic lens where a worn cutout can cause the lens to shift and damage the front element.Built in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days. For matched cases that hold a 2- or 3-lens Panavision anamorphic set (40 + 50 + 75mm is a common combination), call 818-767-3030 to spec a multi-lens layout.

Will this fit my setup?
Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.
Got it — we’re checking your package.
We have your configuration and the exact build you were looking at. You’ll hear back with a fit confirmation or the modification we’d recommend.
My setup is different
Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.
I need several
Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
