Pelican 1637 Air wheeled case configured with CNC-cut foam for a Marelux underwater housing and its working accessories. Foam well captures the housing body with relief at the port flange, dome face, and control cluster so the controls and seals are not loaded against the foam. Secondary wells hold the strobe arms, port covers, and small AKS.

The 1637 is a workable footprint for an underwater housing-plus-accessory package — wheeled, ATA-rated, automatic pressure-equalization valve, and watertight gasket. Lid foam carries an additional shock layer above the dome port so the optical face is never under contact load.

Foam designed and CNC-cut at Innerspace Cases in North Hollywood. Call 818-767-3030 to spec a build for an alternate housing or additional ports.

Will this fit my setup?

Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.

We reply with a real answer, usually same business day.

My setup is different

Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.

I need several

Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
