This case is built specifically for shipping 6K HMI lamps between rental house and location with the kind of impact protection that quartz glass requires.The CNC-cut foam interior cradles the lamp in its shipping orientation with the quartz envelope suspended in soft closed-cell foam that absorbs impact before it reaches the bulb. The electrode ends are seated in profiled cutouts that prevent rotational stress. The foam is built up around the bulb to multiple layers of thickness — overengineered relative to a standard product case because of the consequences of a quartz failure.Shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with reinforced corners, recessed ball-corner latches, pressure-equalization valve (essential for quartz lamps crossing altitude), and a soft-grip carry handle.
