ATA flight case for the Hudson Spider soft-light fixture — the umbrella-style soft source that became a working overhead key for stage interiors, dialogue scenes, and beauty/talent work. The Hudson Spider knocks down into the spider frame, the fabric, the ballast, and the cable bundle; the case is built to ship those components together with the frame protected from fabric contact.Interior is CNC-cut HDPE foam with a contoured spider-frame well that supports the frame folded into transport position, a separate fabric compartment with a velour-faced contact layer so the diffusion doesn't pick up scuffs, a ballast well with airflow clearance, and a cable compartment for the input cord, the DMX, and the head umbilical. Shell is ATA-300 ply over aluminum extrusion.Built at 11555 Cantara Street, North Hollywood. For different Hudson Spider sizes (5K, 1K), multi-fixture touring cases, or matching fabric outriggers, call 818-767-3030.

Will this fit my setup?
Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.
Got it — we’re checking your package.
We have your configuration and the exact build you were looking at. You’ll hear back with a fit confirmation or the modification we’d recommend.
My setup is different
Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.
I need several
Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
