A Pelican-shell custom-foamed case for Profoto D1 or B1 flash heads. The CNC-cut foam interior carries the head in a contoured cradle — modeling lamp and flash tube protected — with separate fitted wells for the lithium-ion battery (B1) or AC supply (D1), the charger, reflector dish, sync cables, and the small accessories the kit travels with.Profoto heads are durable but the flash tube and modeling lamp are fragile, and the rotating zoom mechanism doesn't tolerate impact loads through the case wall. The foam layout keeps the tube face down with the globe protected, and keeps the battery / charger separated from the head body.Designed and foamed in North Hollywood by Innerspace Cases.
