Atomos monitor/recorders — the Shinobi, Ninja V, Ninja V+, and Shogun lines — show up on a huge percentage of commercial and indie sets because they combine on-camera monitoring with ProRes RAW recording in a single small unit. They also have a battery plate on the back, a sun hood that snaps on, and a 2.5-inch SSD slot, all of which travel together with the unit.
This case is built on a Pelican 1520 base with CNC-cut foam profiled to the Atomos body (specify model — Shinobi 7, Ninja V+, Shogun, etc. — at order so the foam matches). The interior holds the monitor face-up with cutouts for the sun hood stored flat against the screen, the battery plate with NP-F or Sony L-series battery, a 2.5-inch SSD in its dedicated slot, and a coiled HDMI/SDI cable.
The Pelican 1520 shell is the standard for protected monitor transport — ATA 300 Category 1, IP67 waterproof, with pressure-equalization valve and recessed latches. Soft-grip handle for one-handed carry.
