The Flanders Scientific DM170 is a 17-inch class production reference monitor — the case is dimensioned around the chassis, with a foam shroud that protects the bezel and TFT panel and a separate accessory bay sized for the AC adapter, SDI loom, and folding sunhood. Wheels and a pullout handle move the case across a stage or trade-show floor solo. The build is an Innerspace ATA-rated flight case with riveted hardware, recessed handles, and a tongue-and-groove lid. The interior is CNC-cut foam tuned to the monitor body so it doesn't shift in transit and a fitted dust cover keeps lint off the panel.Designed and built by Innerspace Cases in North Hollywood, California. What it fits
Fit is confirmed against the exact monitor and the accessories you travel with. If your package differs, use Will this fit my setup? below and we will check it before you order.
Build & shipping
Will this fit my setup?
Tell us the monitor and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.
Got it — we’re checking your package.
We have your configuration and the exact build you were looking at. You’ll hear back with a fit confirmation or the modification we’d recommend.
My setup is different
Different monitor, extra accessories, a hood that has to stay on, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.
I need several
Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
