Electric upright bass Case

An electric upright bass is the awkward middle child of the bass world — too tall for a standard gig bag, too irregular for a generic acoustic case, and increasingly common on touring rigs where a player needs the upright sound without the size of an acoustic double bass. This case is built specifically for an electric upright bass body shape.The interior is shaped to cradle the bass with the body in its working orientation and the headstock supported in a contoured cutout that protects the tuning pegs from impact. The neck heel sits in foam shaped to the EUB's distinctive bridge-and-pickup hardware, which is the high-failure-point in cargo. The case accommodates the bass with the endpin retracted; longer endpins should be removed for transport.Shell is solid black fiberglass over a 3/8-inch wood core (anvil-style touring construction), with oversized recessed latches, reinforced corners, and full-length handles on the lid and sides. Drop-down hinge stay holds the lid open hands-free for fast load-in.Built in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days.
