Helicopter camera mounts — Cineflex, Shotover, Wescam, FLIR — all use precision-machined counterweights to balance the gimbal. The weights are dense, heavy, and easy to damage if they bang against each other in transit. They also tend to scratch the gimbal hardware if not packed in dedicated cutouts.This case is built for helicopter mount counterweights with CNC-cut foam profiled to the specific weight shapes and dimensions of your gimbal system. The closed-cell polyethylene foam is built up to absorb the weight's load without compressing under it, with edge support that prevents weight-on-weight contact when the case is moved.Shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with reinforced corners (this case is heavy when loaded), recessed twist latches sized for the cargo handling, pressure-equalization valve, and reinforced soft-grip handles on both ends for two-person lifts. The interior is sized to the specific weight count and dimensions for the helicopter mount system at order.Built in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days.
