A remote filming kit is a pile of small, expensive, easily separated parts — the SmallRig control gear, the Sennheiser wireless, the earpieces. Lose one earpiece into the bottom of a shared case and the kit is down until somebody finds it. This build gives every piece its own cut seat, so one look tells you whether anything is missing before you leave the location.
Closed-cell polyethylene foam, CNC-cut in our North Hollywood workshop and seated in a Pelican 1500. The 1500 is an injection-moulded IP67 waterproof shell with an automatic purge valve, a 50 lb buoyancy rating and a −40°F to 190°F service range. The foam is ours; the shell is the substrate.
Built to order. If your kit differs — a different wireless body, more earpieces, a monitor in the lid — we cut the wells to match.
