A Pelican 1646 shell custom-foamed for the ARRI Gear Head One with its crank handles. The CNC-cut foam interior cradles the gear head body in a contoured cradle that supports the cast iron across multiple contact points, with separate fitted wells for the three crank handles, baseplate, and tie-down hardware.Gear heads are heavy and the geared mechanism doesn't tolerate impact through the case wall. The 1646's footprint with wheels makes the case manageable solo despite the weight.Designed and foamed in North Hollywood by Innerspace Cases.
