A custom case for the OConnor 1040 fluid head. The CNC-cut foam interior cradles the head body in a contoured pocket sized to its specific geometry, with separate fitted wells for the pan bar, Mitchell base or sliding plate, and the tie-down hardware that travels with the head.The 1040 is a workhorse Mitchell-mount fluid head used heavily on cinema production — its tilt and pan stages don't tolerate impact loads through the case wall, so the foam layout spreads support away from the bearings. The base and pan bar pack with the head as a single deployable kit.Designed and foamed in North Hollywood by Innerspace Cases.
