The floating rack interior is the key: the entire 26-rack-unit chassis is suspended inside the outer shell on isolation mounts that absorb vibration and impact before it reaches the equipment.The interior frame is a standard 19-inch rack with 26 usable rack units of vertical space, threaded for standard 10-32 rack screws. The outer shell is built to ATA 300 Category 1 for freight inspection and air travel, with recessed twist latches that won't pop under cargo handling. Front and rear lids both lift away cleanly so cabling can be dressed and powered without removing equipment from the case.Standard hardware includes heavy-duty corner casters (recessed so they don't catch on dock plates), a pressure-equalization valve sized for the larger interior volume, and reinforced lifting handles on both ends for two-person carries. The floating mount system is rated for the kind of vibration you see in truck transit and aircraft cargo holds — the same standard used for broadcast and military electronics shipping.This is a made-to-order case.
