The Matthews Polly Dolly is a wheeled studio platform used for moving heavy lighting and grip equipment around stages — built from welded steel with caster wheels. The dolly is heavy and the welded structure needs case protection between studios.The CNC-cut foam interior holds the Polly Dolly in its parked configuration with cutouts for the deck, the casters, and the mounting hardware. Foam protects the painted surfaces and the wheel bearings during freight handling.Shell is IP67 watertight and crushproof with reinforced corners (loaded case is heavy), recessed twist latches, pressure-equalization valve, and reinforced soft-grip handles for two-person lifts.Built in our North Hollywood workshop.
