The Preston single-channel FIZ kit — typically a Hand Unit, MDR2 or MDR4, single focus or iris motor, and the cable set — drops into a CNC-cut foam layout sized to each component. The MDR sits in its own well with port clearance, the motor in a fitted profile, and the hand unit rests in a contoured cradle. Cables coil into a dedicated cable bay.The Pelican Protector shell brings the gasketed lid, automatic equalization valve, and copolymer impact body for working set use and rental cycles. Foam density is tuned to the kit's working weight so cable looms don't load on the motor or MDR in transit.Manufactured by Innerspace Cases at our North Hollywood, CA workshop.
