A custom case for the Schoeps CMIT 5U shotgun microphone. The CNC-cut foam interior cradles the microphone body in a contoured pocket, with separate fitted pockets for the windscreen / blimp, Rycote or Cinela suspension mount, XLR cabling, and any pop filter / fur cover that the kit travels with.The CMIT 5U is a delicate, expensive instrument — the capsule is sensitive to impact and the body finish scuffs easily when packed loose. The foam layout keeps the mic separated from its accessories and keeps the cable from coiling against the body in transit.Designed and foamed in North Hollywood by Innerspace Cases.
