Pelican 1650 wheeled case configured with CNC-cut foam for a Pro Cine Sled paired with a Freefly Volt gyro-stabilization unit. The sled has its own well with relief at the gimbal mount and the handle hardware so the rig can be set in and pulled out in its working assembly. The Volt has a dedicated well with cable-relief at the BNC and power connectors.

The 1650 is the right shape for a steady-sled rig pack-out - wheeled, watertight, recessed twist latches, automatic pressure-equalization valve, and a folding tow handle. Secondary pockets hold a power brick, a control tether, and an AKS pouch. The case becomes the daily ship-and-bill for a stabilized handheld camera build.

Foam designed and CNC-cut at Innerspace Cases in North Hollywood. Call 818-767-3030 for a paired battery-and-charger case or to spec a wheeled long-format variant for a complete handheld kit.

Will this fit my setup?

Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.

We reply with a real answer, usually same business day.

My setup is different

Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.

I need several

Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
