The Sony PXW-FS7 is the workhorse documentary and broadcast camera that's stayed in service through a decade of rental cycles — built for handheld shooting with a stock viewfinder rig that takes accessories most other camera systems can't. This case is built to ship the FS7 as a working system: the body, the extension unit, the viewfinder rig, batteries, media, and the cable harness — together, with wheels for cart-mode transport.The CNC-cut foam interior has dedicated cutouts for the FS7 body in its working orientation, the XDCA-FS7 extension unit, the DVF-EL200 OLED viewfinder, two BP-U series batteries, an SxS card holder, and the cable kit. Everything travels in deployed configuration so setup at the next location is minutes instead of an assembly puzzle.The shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with recessed twist latches (the larger size requires the heavier-duty latch), pressure-equalization valve, and corner casters for cart-mode transport. Soft-grip lifting handles on both ends for two-person carries when wheels can't be used.Built in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days.
