The Air 1600 is wider than the Air 1555 and costs less — Air shells carry a lightweight-resin premium. Carry-on rows are judged against common domestic allowances; airline restrictions vary, so confirm with your carrier. Where a dimension is not yet verified against the shop record it is shown as — rather than estimated.
Send us a case you already own and we will strip the interior and rebuild it as an open AKS layout — dividers, trays or cut foam, specified to what actually lives in it. Common on Pelican 1200, 1450, 1510 and 1560 shells.
