This one takes the FX6 fully built: top handle up, monitor and side grip attached, Sony 24-105 kit lens on the front, camera standing upright. Around it sit two Sony batteries, the charger, the AC supply, cards, a reader and the small accessories. Open the lid and the camera is ready to work.
The insert is cut into a Pelican Air 1607 — IP67 watertight and crushproof in a shell light enough to move on your own. Foamed to order in North Hollywood.

Does the camera go in fully rigged?
Yes — top handle up, monitor and side grip attached, with the 24-105 mounted. It stands upright in the foam so nothing loads against the lens mount.
What if I run a different lens?
The well is cut around the Sony 24-105 kit lens. A longer or faster lens changes the footprint — tell us what you run and we cut the foam to it.
Is this an ATA flight case?
No — this build uses a Pelican Air injection-molded shell, which is IP67 watertight and crushproof. If you need a riveted ATA 300 flight case for the FX6 instead, we build that too.
What’s the lead time, and can you rush it?
Every case is built to order and ships in about 14–21 business days. Rush production is available as a premium by quote when a deadline is tight — tell us your date and we’ll price it.
Do you build these for a fleet?
