The Sony FX6 has become the go-to small-form-factor cinema camera for documentary and commercial work — full-frame sensor, dual-base ISO, and the kind of compact body that lets it ride a gimbal or work handheld without help. The "fully built" configuration means the FX6 with viewfinder mounted, top handle attached, and V-Mount battery plate in place — the configuration most ACs prefer to ship the camera in.
This case is built on a Pelican 1610 base with CNC-cut foam profiled to the FX6 fully built configuration. The foam holds the camera in shooting orientation so it can be removed and rigged in seconds without reassembly. Cutouts accommodate the viewfinder rod arm, the top handle clamp, and the V-Mount plate with battery seated. Accessory cutouts hold a CFexpress card holder, the wide-angle adapter rear cap, and a small cable kit.
The Pelican 1610 shell is the standard for protected fully-built camera transport — ATA 300 Category 1, IP67 waterproof, with pressure-equalization valve, recessed twist latches, built-in wheels, and an extending handle for airport transport.
