A custom transport case for the RED V-Raptor ST 8K VV — RED's full-frame VistaVision (VV) cinema camera body. The CNC-cut foam well is contoured around the V-Raptor body chassis, the integrated cooling fins, the right-side I/O / record-trigger panel, the media bay, and the RF / Locking RF lens mount (mount cap installed during transit). The body ships on its base rather than on the delicate viewfinder mount or rear ports.Adjacent wells in the base layer carry the supplied tools, the RED Komodo-X-style mount adapters if those are in the kit, the RED PRO CFexpress 2.0 cards in their cradles, and a microfiber cloth. Top layer can be cut for the RED touch LCD, the side-mount handles, the V-mount or Gold-mount battery cradle, or whatever the rental package ships with. Pelican Protector-class shell with retractable handle, two-wheel cart roll, automatic pressure-equalization valve, recessed dish latches, and stainless hardware.Designed and CNC-cut at 11555 Cantara Street in our North Hollywood, California workshop. Will this fit my setup?
Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.
Got it — we’re checking your package.
We have your configuration and the exact build you were looking at. You’ll hear back with a fit confirmation or the modification we’d recommend.
My setup is different
Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.
I need several
Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
