A BURANO on a job is a system, not a body: the grip remote, the media and its reader, a monitor with a hood, and the power distribution that ties it together. Packed loose, the monitor hood is what arrives cracked.

This case carries the working kit — Sony GP-VR100 grip remote control, two media cards and the Sony MRW-G1 reader, a SmallHD CINE5 monitor with its hood, and the Mid49 DB-8 power distribution box in the BURANO V-mount configuration — each in its own CNC-cut well.

It rolls, on integrated wheels with a pull-out handle, so one person moves the kit through stage doors and rental bays. Built to order and foamed in North Hollywood.

Fit & shipping FAQ

Does the camera body travel in this case?

This build is the accessory and monitoring kit. We make separate BURANO body cases — in a Pelican Air shell and as a riveted ATA build — and we can spec a matched pair.

Can it take a different monitor?

Yes. The CINE5 well is cut to that monitor with its hood on; name yours on the quote and we cut to it.

What’s the lead time, and can you rush it?

Every case is built to order and ships in about 14–21 business days. Rush production is available as a premium by quote when a deadline is tight — tell us your date and we’ll price it.

Do you build these for a fleet?

Yes. Outfitting a rental inventory or a multi-camera package is our specialty — standardized, re-orderable builds with optional engraved IDs.

Different accessory load-out, a cage we haven’t listed, or a matched set? Tell us what you run and we cut the foam to match. Call 818-767-3030 — same business day, Mon–Fri, 8AM–5PM PT.

Will this fit my setup?

Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.

We reply with a real answer, usually same business day.

My setup is different

Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.

I need several

Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
