A Pelican 1520 with CNC-cut foam for a built-up Sony FX3 — the body with top handle attached, the XLR audio module on, a viewfinder or 5" monitor on the cold shoe, NP-FZ100 batteries, a charger, and the cable kit. The well preserves the rigged camera shape so the AC isn't re-rigging between setups.

The 1520 Protector shell is IP67 watertight and crushproof, with automatic pressure equalization and IP67 sealing. CNC-cut polyethylene + cross-linked foam, navy under-color. Built in North Hollywood. To combine an FX3 with an FX6 in a dual-body case, or expand for a wireless RF and AKS layout, call 818-767-3030.

Will this fit my setup?

Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.

We reply with a real answer, usually same business day.

My setup is different

Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.

I need several

Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
