SmallHD Cine 13 — Cases & Transport Protection
A 13-inch high-bright panel is big enough to matter at video village and small enough to get tossed on a cart — the worst combination for surviving transport without a real case.
- 13-inch 4K high-bright
- Production monitor class
- 3 dedicated builds
- Pelican & Nanuk shells
About this equipment
The SmallHD Cine 13 is a 13-inch, 4K high-bright production monitor — the step between an on-camera display and a full village monitor. It shows up on DIT carts, director setups, and focus stations, usually with a yoke or stand bracket attached and a sun shade in the kit.
Its panel is the failure point: a 13-inch face with thin bezels does not tolerate point loads. The builds below give the screen a foam-faced cavity and put the bracket hardware in its own pocket so nothing metal rides against glass.
Choose protection by workflow
Occasional moves, vehicle transport: foam inserts and padded protection in a case you own.
Travel and carry-on workflows: compact hard-shell builds sized to airline limits.
Constant shipping: ATA shells, modular replaceable foam, fleet-matched layouts.
Purpose-built around your exact package and workflow.

Transport knowledge
We have cut Cine 13 foam for both Pelican 1440-class and Nanuk 940-class shells. Either protects; pick by what your fleet already standardizes on so lids, latches, and stacking stay consistent.
A Cine 13 with a yoke or cheese-plate permanently attached needs a different cavity than a bare monitor. Tell us how yours actually travels — we cut for the real configuration.
Most Cine 13 layouts include cavities for the shade, power brick, and cabling so the monitor station comes off the truck in one box.

Frequently asked questions
If you tell us it travels with the yoke on, we cut the cavity that way. Foam engineered for the bare monitor will not protect a mounted one.
Yes — foam-only inserts for your existing Pelican or Nanuk shell are a standard build. See the foam options below or request a quote with your shell model.
Made to order, typically shipping in 7–10 business days. New layouts are quoted per project.
