Custom case for the Canon CN7x17 17-120mm cine-servo zoom shipped built up — the lens with 12-inch 15mm rods attached, the lens support bracket, the servo handgrip, and the loose accessory chain. The 17-120 is a heavy long-zoom that lives on the camera as a permanent A-lens for documentary, multicam, and live-event work, and shipping it built up saves the AC the rebuild between shoots.Interior is CNC-cut HDPE foam contoured to the 17-120 barrel with the rod-and-support footprint accounted for, a deep front-element pocket, rebate cuts for the servo handgrip, and pockets for spare rods, the cable for servo-camera comms, and the rear cap. Lid foam is convoluted with a velour-faced contact layer that protects the focus, zoom, and iris ring markings.Built at 11555 Cantara Street, North Hollywood. For a different rod length, a flat-pack (lens-only) layout, or an alternate Canon cine-servo (CN10x25, CN20x50), call 818-767-3030.

Will this fit my setup?

Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.

We reply with a real answer, usually same business day.

My setup is different

Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.

I need several

Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
