The CNC-cut foam interior cradles the lens along its full barrel length, with separate fitted pockets for the servo grip / hand unit, drive cabling, lens support feet, and any AKS the lens travels with.The CN20 is a long, heavy ENG-style cinema zoom with serious electronics — the foam supports the lens across multiple contact points rather than concentrating weight on the mount, and keeps the servo housing and connector pins from taking impact in transit.
