A custom transport case for the Cooke Cinetal 25-250mm T3.7 MKIII zoom — the long PL-mount cinema zoom that's been a staple of feature and episodic work for decades. The case interior is a CNC-cut cradle: the lens is supported at the front trunnion and the rear-mount block, with contoured foam along the full barrel length so the optic doesn't load on its focus or zoom rings during transit. Rear-cap clearance is preserved for the PL rear cap, and the front element is isolated from any direct foam contact.Pelican-class rolling shell with retractable handle, two-wheel cart roll, automatic pressure-equalization valve, recessed dish latches, and stainless hardware. Adjacent wells for the iris ring drive gear, the supplied support foot, witness-mark cards, and a microfiber cloth. Foam is closed-cell so it doesn't shed into the focus or iris mechanism on a long location run.Designed and CNC-cut in our North Hollywood, CA workshop.
