The Cooke Varotal/i 30-95mm and 85-215mm are the standard and long-range zooms in the Varotal/i family — full-frame coverage, T2.9 across the range, /i metadata, and the matched character with the Cooke S7/i prime line. This case accommodates either zoom (specify at order — the foam is profiled for one or the other). The CNC-cut foam interior cradles the chosen zoom along its full length with dedicated support at the front element, the zoom and focus rings, and the PL mount end. The cutout holds the lens with mount facing up for fast deployment. The foam supports the optical block without putting load on the rear element.Shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with recessed ball-corner latches, pressure-equalization valve, and reinforced soft-grip handles. Closed-cell polyethylene foam CNC-cut to the chosen Varotal/i body.Built in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days. Specify 30-95mm or 85-215mm at order. Will this fit my setup?
Tell us what you’re protecting and everything that travels with it. We check it against this build’s foam layout and reply with either a confirmation or the change we’d make. No obligation, and it goes to the people who cut the foam.
Got it — we’re checking your package.
We have your configuration and the exact build you were looking at. You’ll hear back with a fit confirmation or the modification we’d recommend.
My setup is different
Different body, extra accessories, an accessory that has to stay mounted, or dimensions that don’t exist yet. We modify an existing design or engineer a new one.
I need several
Repeatable foam layouts, consistent hardware, replacement foam and reorders against the same drawing. Standard practice for rental houses and studio fleets.
