The Cooke Varotal/i 19-40mm is the wide-end zoom of the Varotal/i family — built to match the Cooke S7/i prime line with consistent rendering, T2.9 across the zoom range, and the Cooke /i metadata system. The Varotal/i is the modern Cooke zoom alternative to the heavier Angenieux Optimo.This case is built specifically for the Varotal/i 19-40mm body. The CNC-cut foam interior cradles the lens along its full length with dedicated support at the front element, the zoom and focus rings, and the PL mount end. The cutout holds the lens with PL mount facing up for fast deployment, with foam support that prevents the rear element from bearing weight when the lens is removed.Shell is ATA 300 Category 1 with recessed ball-corner latches, automatic pressure-equalization valve, and reinforced soft-grip handles for the larger zoom body. Closed-cell polyethylene foam CNC-cut to the Varotal/i 19-40mm profile.Made in our North Hollywood workshop. Lead time 14–21 business days.
