Precision foam wells, cut from manufacturer dimensions, protect the optical block, focus and iris gears, and PL or EF mount from impact and pressure.
An ATA-300 rated shell - plywood with laminate exterior, steel valances, and recessed hardware - stands up to the 100-plus round trips of working rental and production travel. Exterior dimensions are about 23.25 x 15 x 10.5 in, ships at about 28 lb. Made in the USA.
